Aleta Pippin

Biografía: 
Aleta Pippin ha estado creando desde que pudo sostener un lápiz o crayón. A la edad de cuatro años, ella estaba dibujando caballos. Cuando ella era una adolescente, estaba dibujando figuras y creando carteles para la escuela. Luego su vida dio un giro al matrimonio, tener hijos y trabajar.

Pippin sintió la necesidad personal de dejar de lado la pintura durante cuatro años, así que guardó sus pinceles entre 1997 y el 2000. Durante ese tiempo, continuó apreciando el arte y la pintura. visitó exposiciones de museos cada vez que presentaban la oportunidad de ver el trabajo de sus expresionistas abstractos favoritos.
En el año 2000, Pippin comenzó a pintar de nuevo. Las pinturas eran más frescas y sofisticadas a pesar de que no había pintado durante cuatro años. Evolucionaron rápidamente a través de varios procesos, desde acrílicos hasta aceites, hasta medios mixtos, y una vez más volvieron a los acrílicos y aceites. El compromiso de pintar se completó durante esta metamorfosis. 

En 2006, Pippin, con su compañera de negocios y artista, Barbara Meikle, fundó Pippin Meikle Fine Art en Santa Fe, Nuevo México. El enfoque de Pippin Meikle es presentar expresiones alegres, audaces y vibrantes de obras de arte originales.
En 2011, Pippin lanzó Pippin Contemporary en el centro de Santa Fe, a una cuadra de la Plaza Histórica. Esta galería está enfocada en trabajos abstractos con la intención de que los espectadores tengan una experiencia sensorial de color y estado de ánimo creada por el puñado de artistas que muestran allí.

Declaración del artista

Mis pinturas son sobre energía (vibración), color y libertad. Son una expresión espontánea, que fluye libremente a través de mí al ritmo de la música que escucho. Cuando estoy en la zona de expresión libre, estoy profundamente involucrado en la evolución de las pinturas, actuando como un recipiente a través del cual fluye la energía. Cuando la pintura está terminada, retrocedo para verla y me emociona mucho ver el increíble color, la energía de las marcas y la sensación general de la pieza.
Uso pinturas y medios acrílicos para lograr el efecto de capas, colores vibrantes y alta energía. Mi objetivo con cada pintura es impartir un sentimiento de aprecio, alegría y energía. Cuando los coleccionistas ven mis piezas, me gustaría que se pararan frente a cada pintura y las vieran con una mente abierta, evitando el juicio, aceptando cada una para el mundo único expresado. 

Me siento afortunado de vivir en Santa Fe, Nuevo México, un área con abundante luz solar, un cielo azul claro y un contorno de montaña nítido contra el horizonte. Estas características son inspiradoras e influyen en la pieza terminada. 

Es gratificante que los espectadores / coleccionistas expresen lo hermosas que son las pinturas y cómo son tocadas por el color, la energía y las imágenes.

Biography:

Fin Pippin has been creating since he could hold a pencil or crayon. At the age of four, she was drawing horses. When she was a teenager, she was drawing figures and creating posters for the school. Then his life changed marriage, having children and working.

Creation takes many forms and for Pippin, it took the form of business. In 1984 (sold in 2008), Pippin founded his company, Front Office Business Centers in Houston, Texas. "Business," exclaims Pippin, "is creating, the same as creating a painting, first having a vision that excites, then considers that vision enough to be inspired, focused enough for inspiration to move you into action, maintaining the Vision until the action manifests itself in a business.

When Pippin began his artistic journey, it was painting figurative and still life pieces, although that work did not inspire and inspire. When she moved to an abstract job, she felt the inspiration and desire that impelled her to spend the necessary time in her study to expand her images and produce a body of work. That body of work was enough to obtain his representation in Gallery 821 in 1996. Pippin felt the personal need to put aside the painting for four years, so he kept his brushes between 1997 and 2000. During that time, he continued to appreciate the art and painting. He visited museum exhibitions every time they presented the opportunity to see the work of their favorite abstract expressionists.

In the year 2000, Pippin began to paint again. The paintings were fresher and more sophisticated even though he had not painted for four years. They evolved rapidly through various processes, from acrylics to oils, to mixed media, and once again turned to acrylics and oils. The commitment to paint was completed during this metamorphosis.

In 2006, Pippin, with her business partner and artist, Barbara Meikle, founded Pippin Meikle Fine Art in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Pippin Meikle's approach is to present joyful, bold and vibrant expressions of original works of art.

In 2011, Pippin launched Pippin Contemporary in downtown Santa Fe, one block from the Historic Plaza. This gallery is focused on abstract works with the intention that the viewers have a sensory experience of color and mood created by the handful of artists that show there.

Pippin continues to paint his high-energy and high-key paintings; a tribute to the beauty and vibrational impact that color imparts, along with the emotional translation of the music that moves through it while painting.

Artist's statement

My paintings are about energy (vibration), color and freedom. They are a spontaneous expression, that flows freely through me to the rhythm of the music that I listen to. When I am in the zone of free expression, I am deeply involved in the evolution of paintings, acting as a vessel through which energy flows. When the painting is finished, I step back to see it and I am very excited to see the incredible color, the energy of the marks and the general feeling of the piece.

I use paints and acrylic media to achieve the effect of layers, vibrant colors and high energy. My goal with each painting is to impart a feeling of appreciation, joy and energy. When collectors see my pieces, I would like them to stand in front of each painting and see them with an open mind, avoiding judgment, accepting each one for the unique world expressed.

I feel fortunate to live in Santa Fe, New Mexico, an area with abundant sunlight, a clear blue sky and a clear mountain outline against the horizon. These characteristics are inspiring and influence the finished piece.

It is gratifying that viewers / collectors express how beautiful the paintings are and how they are touched by color, energy and images.
